Susan Roshdieh is a licensed acupuncturist with a passion for helping my patients integrate self-care and body awareness into their everyday lives. I am dedicated to using holistic medicine to support the balance of mental, emotional, and physical well-being for my patients.
Since 2009, I have been combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with nutritional advice to provide caring, supportive, and effective treatments that integrate the whole person through a system of Traditional Chinese Diagnosis. Using a gentle yet effective technique, I incorporate multiple styles of acupuncture to help each person uniquely achieve balance.
My practice includes modalities such as Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM), Trigger Points, Abdominal Acupuncture Style, and cupping. I strive to offer patients a safe and comfortable place for healing and to foster a greater sense of overall well-being—mentally, emotionally, and physically. I am committed to creating personalized, holistic care plans for each patient, believing there is no one-size-fits-all model for health and wellness.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with fertility, infertility, and acupuncture during IVF. I have helped many women conceive after several miscarriages. Treating women after conception and helping promote easy labour is something that gives me great satisfaction. I also offer post-natal care with acupuncture. Fertility treatment is a journey I am honoured to be a part of with my patients.
Specialisations:
I have extensive knowledge and experience in treating various conditions, including digestive issues, musculoskeletal problems, emotional disorders, insomnia, headaches, menopausal symptoms, and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). As a Five Element Acupuncturist, I focus deeply on emotions, mind, belief, and spirit according to the patient’s constitution and how it communicates with the physical body as one interdependent unit. I specialise in treatment for natural and assisted conception as well as related conditions such as recurrent miscarriage and pregnancy complications. I use acupuncture to support IVF cycles by implementing appropriate protocols at different stages of IVF to increase the effectiveness of the treatment. It is predominantly used to improve success rates and can also be helpful to couples as they navigate this challenging process.
Approach:
Acupuncture treatment is a holistic approach to health and well-being. It treats the underlying causes of disease rather than just the symptoms.
In addition to acupuncture, I use other modalities such as ear acupuncture, abdominal acupuncture, cupping, guasha, moxibustion, and nutritional advice based on traditional Chinese medicine.
Why choosing us
I have a strong passion for helping people during challenging times in their lives. With my academic background (MSc in Physics), I am deeply interested in learning, research, and the impact of acupuncture on the quantum energy level.
As a practitioner of Traditional Chinese and Five Element Acupuncture, I concentrate on the emotional and psychological origins of illnesses, utilising acupuncture to harmonise the mind, emotions, and cellular healing processes.
